Delete your Virgol account and data

Virgol lets users create an account. This page explains how to delete your Virgol account, request deletion of all associated app data, or request deletion of specific app data.
Delete from inside the app
- Open Virgol.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion request shown in the app.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, or if you want specific app data deleted without deleting your whole account, email support@virgol.co.uk from the email address used for your Virgol account. Include “Delete my Virgol account” or “Delete my Virgol data” in the subject.
Data deleted when you delete your account
Account deletion removes your Virgol account and business data stored for that account, including profile details, clients, quotes, invoices, payments, expenses, materials, labour and travel rates, To Buy lists, files, receipts, qualifications, insurance records, notifications, support messages where linked to your account, and related app records.
Data that may be retained
Some limited records may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, store payment, tax, backup, support, or accounting purposes. App Store and Google Play subscription and purchase records are managed by the relevant store. Backup copies and system logs may remain for up to 90 days before automatic expiry.
Timeframe
In-app deletion starts immediately where permissions and connectivity allow it. Email deletion requests are normally reviewed and handled within 30 days after account ownership is verified.
